Photography hike – cut off by the tide

A way round the Lady Hill at low tide

This was my first photography hike of 2017 and it was exciting. Somewhere you can only reach at low tide and you don’t want to get trapped. The shore opened up and it coincided with daylight and a weather forecast of sunny spells.

Dear photographers, please note: for these pictures I’ve adopted a different style of photo editing. Basically I’ve lightened the depth of the black tones and aimed for a softer, more matte look. Depending on your point of view you may consider the results hideously flat or a step in the right direction… I think I’ll be sticking with it for a long long time 🙂
